All Pro Tool: MarketInsight – Be The Information Resource


One of the tools that is included in HAR’s Platinum Membership is MarketInsight.  It provides an exceptional way to stay in with present, past, and future clients.  There is a QUICK set-up, and it’s a set-it-and-forget-it tool that you absolutely want to take advantage of.  Your clients will appreciate the information, and you!

What is Market Insight?

It is a tool accessed through HAR Platinum Membership. It will create reports that will automatically be emailed either weekly or monthly.  Reports can be customized by area, neighborhood, or zip code, +/-  a percentage of square footage and price from the subject property.  There are three types of reports:

  1. Current Listing Report – Set up each of your Active Listings to receive this report weekly.  The report will show new listings, new sales, and all price reductions.  It will display a summary of showings from CSS, traffic on HAR for their listing, price trends in the neighborhood, and zip code, as well a neighborhood summary.
  2. Prospective Listing Report – This is a report that should go monthly to everyone you know that is a homeowner, as well as any prospective listings coming up.  It shows a market overview, active listings, price reductions, recent sales, and subdivision and zip code price trends.
  3. Past Buyer Reports – All the addresses where you’ve represented a buyer will already loaded into MarketInsight.  You simply need to go in, customize your report, and set it up to go out to your past buyers on a monthly basis. Great way to stay connected to your past buyer clients with relevant information.  It looks just like the Prospective Listing Report.

How Do I Set It Up?

Easy!  Each one will take less than 5 minutes!  Here you go!

  1. LOG in to HAR and go to Members Portal.
  2. Click on “My Tools”.

 


3.  Click on MarketInsight “MANAGE”.


4. Select your Report =  Prospecting Listing/Lessor (Everyone in your SOI is a prospective seller:-) or  SOLD (Represented Buyer)


5.  Enter the Address, then click the SEARCH ADDRESS button.

 


5. Select MarketInsight for Prospective Seller.

6.  Select Red NEXT STEP Button.


7.  Configure your MarketInsight Invitation by completing STEP 1

8. In STEP 2, check In Customs Shape and click on the blue SELECT AREA BY MAP.  

 

9. Draw Map around subject property neighborhood and click the USE THIS SHAPE button.

Complete STEP 2.

9. Complete STEP 3.  Monthly Update recommended.  Click Next Step.

 

 


 

10.  Enter you client/prospect email and click the red SUBMIT button.
