I’ve seen some beautiful business plans in my days as a coach. But, sadly I’ve seen very few executed effectively prior to coaching.
Imagine you are going to road trip it from LA to New York City. You sit down and map out the drive, how many miles you’ll drive per day, where you will stop along the way, a budget for gas and food. You prepare to drive 3000 miles and you’ve done all the research. The car has been tuned up and your music list has been updated. You can’t wait to take off.
Now imagine, you take that plan, drop it in your desk drawer, walk out the door, and start driving. That’s what most agents do with their business plan. And, when they have arrived at the new year, they pull it out of their drawer, dust if off and wonder what happened to it all. ‘Was I too ambitious?’ and of course, ‘This year will be different.’
There is a way to make your business plan one that includes a plan to execute. We have to take the lead generation sources, and turn them into executable systems. We need to know what to do every single week to maximize our ability to efficient with our time. The Weekly Action Checklist will help you plan your activities that will allow you to accomplish your goals.
Trust me. Use this consistently, and it’s hard to let yourself down. No more trying to figure out what to do or where to spend your time. This takes the guesswork out of it. If you need help creating the individual systems, come see me.
