o CNE/MCNE (Certified/Master Negotiation Expert designation) – course descriptions.
o GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute),
o Broker Responsibility (MCE), and

TREC Changes License Renewal Requirements! Don’t wait until the last minute any longer to meet your 15 hr. MCE requirement to renew your license. Effective on January 1, 2015 all MCE must be completed and recorded with TREC and renewal fees paid before the two-year license renewal date arrives. If not, there will be a $200.00 fee and the agent will have 60 days to complete MCE before the license goes into Inactive status.
See the “TREC Changes License Renewal Requirements” which is the front page of the TREC Advisor. It clearly explains that if TREC does not receive proof of completed MCE and the renewal fee by the license renewal date, the licensee will be fined $200.00 and will have 60 days to complete the MCE while the license remains inACTIVE status. After the 60 days, if the MCE is not completed the license goes INACTIVE – which means the licensee CANNOT work!!
MCE providers have 10 days to submit rosters of completed MCE to TREC. So, in 2015 plan well ahead when scheduling the 15 hrs. MCE courses.
GRI Provides SAE Credit for New Agents. New agents needing to complete 90 hours of Salesperson Apprentice Education (SAE) may take advantage of the GRI courses being given by Gary Greene University exclusively for Gary Greene agents (see flier and register on Back Agent). The GRI is the only designation recognized by TREC to provide a total of 90 hours of SAE (30 hrs. for each of the 3 four-day courses needed to earn the designation.).
Time for zipForm Renewals!
Starting tonight, you’re going to get a registration-renewal message when you log in to zipForm. Here’s what it means:
If you use zipForm Professional or zipForm Plus …
Because these products come as part of your Texas Association of REALTORS® dues, you only need to accept the license agreement, click Continue, and click Exit Order. You can then sign back in and access your account.
If you also use zipForm Mobile Web Edition or other add-ons not covered by your TAR dues, you’ll then see a separate renewal notice for those products. You can choose to renew these add-ons or not at this time.
If you use zipForm Standard …
Once you choose to renew zipForm Standard, you’ll be presented with an order screen that will display the payment due and ask you to accept the license agreement. Click Checkout, fill out your payment information, and click Authorize. You’ll receive an order confirmation and receipt.
Call 800-383-9805 to have zipLogix support walk you through the process.
