To Enhance And Update Your Zillow Profile. . .
Use the step-by-step instructions below to insure your Profile displays attractive and All Pro. Once your Zillow account is created/enhanced, your Trulia Profile will be created/enhanced as well.
REVIEW THIS CHECKLIST
- Current Headshot – High Resolution is a must.
- Reviews – Instructions on how to request review can be found below👌🏽
- Biography – Include experience, designations, work ethic, personality, hobbies and interests.
- Currently Listings Linked
- Video Introducing yourself, who you are and what you’re about. No more than 2 minutes.
- Link to your ZAP website and Facebook profile.
- Past Sales – Include them all, buyer and seller sides.
- Service Areas Listed
- Using the Zillow Agent Finder search, confirm that you only have one Profile. If you have multiple profiles, see Linsey to get it fixed pronto.
IMPORTANT: When creating and updating your Zillow account, use your Gary Greene eMail as your profile eMail addresses.
eMail addresses are added in the Account Settings section of your profile.
Adding your Gary Greene eMail will insure that your listings are automatically linked and synced to your Zillow profile. Linking you listings attracts opportunity and helps you look like the Pro you are.
STEP ONE: Log into your Zillow account to edit/enhance your profile.(see picture below). 1. Click Agent Hub. 2. Then click Profile.
STEP TWO: Click Either Spot to Add “about me” Bio and upload your latest fab high resolution headshot photo. (As shown in the picture below 👇🏽 ) . Don’t skip this, you’re a Pro, let people know. Don’t be a secret-agent. Secret agents starve..
STEP THREE: You must include your Gary Greene eMail address.
Including your Gary Greene eMail insures that your awesome listings are linked and synced to your profile. Click Account to add you GG email.
STEP FOUR: ADD DETAILS TO YOUR PROFILE.
Add your Service Areas, Facebook profile link, Zap Website link, and second languages.
This is important. Click Profile and scroll down to find the fields to enter this information and make the most on your profile. This is also the place where you can add a video to your profile. This is one of the most underutilized features on Zillow. Simple take the URL from youtube.com and place it in this section of your profile.
STEP FIVE: Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ & PAST SALES ARE IMPORTANT and Make You Look All Pro, Experienced, Active and Choosable.
We know it can be difficult to have ONE MORE place to get reviews. Pro agents get done what amateur agents won’t. Be a Pro, request reviews. Your raving fans will be happy to do it. For all leases, they won’t receive a RealSatisfied survey, so send them to Zillow. It’s not necessary to have a ton of reviews here, but you want those stars to show up⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Also, because we are a none disclosure state, sales won’t automatically show on your profile. People choose Pros over a Tyros. If you don’t have your past sales displayed you look like a tyro by default. Enhance your perceived value, professionalism and expertise in the eyes of Zillow visitors by adding past sales to your profile. You do not want your online profile showing that you have zero experience and zero sales. Enter your sales pronto and routinely.
STEP SIX – GETTING THOSE REVIEWS and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Show You Can Be Trusted. Add Client Reviews To Your Profile.
Positive client reviews on your Zillow agent profile beams a powerful message, “You’re a trusted Pro.”
When you’re ready to send your Review, pick up the phone and call your client to let them know you are sending them an eMail Review request from Zillow. Ask for their permission before sending and thank them for their support.
While your on the phone you might as well ask them if there is anything you can do for them.
Also, I’d ask them, “If you run into someone at work who mentions that they might be moving, would you be comfortable recommending me to them?” If they reply, “Yes.” Respond, “Thanks so much, I promise I’ll do a great job and treat them like family. Thank you. Among your coworkers, who is the next person of thinking of making a move?” If the answer is “Nobody I can think of.”, say “thanks” and continue or end the conversation naturally. If they say “yes”, whirl into action.
To request reviews, go to Profile while in Agent Hub. Click Request Review. Enter the client’s email address, customize the message so it feels personal, and hit ‘Send Request’. If you are looking for a script to start you off with past clients, try THIS.
STEP SEVEN – ADDING RECENT SALES
To add past sale history, click on Add Past Sales as shown above. This screen will appear. Enter the address, next, next, next. The more you enter the more impressive your virtual impression.
Zillow will locate the property from their feed. Select.
Complete details from the sale (sale date and the side you represented) but make sure you do not add the sale price. Click Add to Profile.
Certify that you were involved in the sale and hit Add to Profile.
You will then see the sale immediately post to your profile and show a status of ‘Published’.
